TÜBİTAK Science, Special, Service, and Incentive Awards
TÜBİTAK Science, Special, Service, and Incentive Awards
The TÜBİTAK Science, Special, Service, and Incentive Awards are conferred as part of TÜBİTAK’s mandate to “provide opportunities for the training and development of scientists and researchers, and to recognize outstanding contributions.” The overarching objective of the TÜBİTAK Award System, across all categories, is to honor individuals who achieve unanimous consensus among evaluators—including reviewers, the Award Committee, and the Executive Board—at every stage of the evaluation process. This rigorous assessment transcends mere quantitative metrics such as publication and citation counts, instead offering a comparative appraisal of candidates within the context of their respective fields.
